Syracuse, NY - June 2006 - Rick Shaw, CPA and Partner with Green & Seifter, Certified Public Accountants, PLLC has been elected President of the Syracuse Chapter of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants where he will serve for one year. Rick has been with the firm since 1991 where he is a member of the Board of Managers. Rick practices in the areas of taxation of corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies and individuals. He also has expertise in the area of New York State taxation including sales and use taxes and Empire Zones. He is also a member of the NYSSCPAs Partnership and Limited Liability Company Tax Committee and the Multi-State and Local Taxation Committee as well as Past Conference Chair of the Annual Tax Conference of the New York State Society of CPAs.
