Syracuse, NY – June 19, 2007 – Green & Seifter, Certified Public Accountants, PLLC hosted a visit from Liverpool High School accounting students. Sophomores, juniors and seniors currently enrolled in the accounting class attended an interactive seminar at Green & Seifter CPAs office located downtown at One Lincoln Center . The agenda included an office tour as well as speakers from the firm. Topics included “Journey to Partnership” by Gary A. Grossman, CPA, CFP, partner, “Human Resource Perspective” by Steven R. Dippolito, CPA, business manager, “Transition from High School to College and Obtaining CPA” by Elizabeth A. Marinelli, staff accountant, “Different Professions and Opportunities Relating to Finance” by Robert S. Just, CFP and “Fraud” by Terrence W. McCarthy, CPA, CFE.

“The kids had nothing but positive things to say on the bus ride home and mentioned how impressed they were by the candid, open discussions with the staff. They all really made such an effort to relate to the high school kids and to open their minds to a decision about college studies from a different perspective other than what they are used to hearing. It was a pleasure to meet everyone and to watch my students interacting so well with all of the firm's staff members” said Karen Pauly, teacher and Liverpool High School coordinator of the outing.
