The employees at Green & Seifter CPAs and Green & Seifter Attorneys teamed up with Catholic Charities to adopt a family for Christmas. The Firms purchased and wrapped gifts to deliver to a family selected by Catholic Charities. Each member of the family receives items that had on their wish list, plus a few surprises. The family also receives a gift certificate to a local grocery store.
“We hope to make a difference in a family’s life by working with Catholic Charities to make sure that the members of the family have presents to open on Christmas morning and a nice meal on Christmas day,” said Rose Durkin, Office Manager with Green & Seifter Attorneys. The Firms have organized this event for over 10 years. |
The Catholic Charities of Onondaga County Annual Christmas Program hopes to give 300 local families and 50 individuals a joyful Christmas. They help people of all ages, from families with newborns to senior citizens. All are clients of Catholic Charities services, and their staff help to identify those with the greatest need. Last year, they matched 289 families and 52 individuals with generous sponsors, who provided holiday gifts and cheer to 1,451 people.
