Syracuse, NY – April 24, 2008 - Green & Seifter CPAs participated in Bring Your Child to Work Day. Employees of the Green & Seifter firms were encouraged to bring their children from 8 years to 15 years old. Programs were created for different age groups. Children 11 years and younger visited and toured the Onondaga County Public Library. Children 12 to 15 years of age visited the Onondaga County/City of Syracuse Criminal Court and were given a tour by Honorable Anthony F. Aloi. Each group then returned to the office for group discussion and age appropriate projects. The students received goodie bags and a certificate of completion.

Exposing students to what a parent or mentor in their lives does during the work day is important, but showing them the value of their education and the opportunities associated with a balanced work and family life, helps to guide them toward achieving the future they dream of.
